Terms of Service

These terms govern access to and use of Facturación Virtual. By registering or using the platform, you agree to be bound by these conditions.

1. General information

This website and application (hereinafter, "the Platform") are operated by Ledgam Europe S.L., with registered address at Calle Velázquez, 137, 28006 Madrid, Spain, and email hola@facturacionvirtual.com.

Facturación Virtual is a software tool that allows professionals and businesses to issue, manage, archive and export invoices, quotes and tax documents.

2. Purpose of the service

Through the Platform we provide users with an environment for creating invoices and quotes, managing clients, generating tax summaries and downloading documents in PDF, XLSX and CSV formats.

The user is solely responsible for the accuracy of the data entered and for compliance with their tax, accounting and commercial obligations. Facturación Virtual acts as a mere technological instrument and does not provide tax, legal or accounting advice.

3. Registration and user account

To use certain features you must create an account. By registering, you agree to:

  • Provide truthful, accurate and complete information.
  • Keep your contact and tax details up to date.
  • Keep your login credentials secure.
  • Not impersonate another person or create unauthorised automated accounts.

We reserve the right to suspend or cancel accounts that breach these conditions or use the Platform for unlawful activities.

4. Permitted and prohibited use

The user undertakes to use the Platform in accordance with the law, morality, public order and these terms. It is expressly prohibited to:

  • Use the Platform to issue false, fraudulent invoices or documents containing inaccurate data.
  • Attempt to access systems, data or other users' accounts without authorisation.
  • Introduce viruses, malware or any code intended to damage or interfere with the operation of the service.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile or extract the source code of the application.
  • Use the Platform in a way that may damage, disable, overload or impair servers or networks.

5. Subscriptions, pricing and payments

Some features may require payment of a subscription. Current prices are published on the Platform and may be updated with prior notice. Payments are processed through third-party providers such as Stripe.

The user is responsible for providing correct billing details. Invoices for the service will be issued in accordance with current Spanish legislation.

6. Intellectual and industrial property

All intellectual and industrial property rights over the Platform, its design, source code, trademarks, logos, texts, images and other elements belong to Ledgam Europe S.L. or its licensors.

The user retains all rights to the data and documents generated through the Platform. By using the service, you grant us a limited licence to store, process and display such data solely for the purpose of providing the service.

7. Liability

Facturación Virtual takes the utmost care in the operation of the Platform, but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or the complete absence of errors. The service is provided "as is" and as available.

We will not be liable for damages arising from user decisions based on information generated by the Platform, nor for tax or accounting non-compliance resulting from incorrect data entered by the user.

In no event shall our liability exceed the total amount paid by the user in the twelve months prior to the event giving rise to the damage, unless applicable law imposes a different limit.

8. Modifications to the service and terms

We may update, improve or discontinue Platform features at any time. We may also revise these Terms and Conditions. We will give reasonable prior notice of material changes. Continued use of the service after the changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

9. Termination and cancellation

The user may request the cancellation of their account at any time. Cancellation does not release the user from pending payment obligations or from the document retention requirements imposed by tax legislation.

We reserve the right to suspend or cancel accounts that breach these terms, pose security risks or remain inactive for extended periods, with prior notice where possible.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Spanish law. For the resolution of any dispute arising from access to or use of the Platform, the parties submit to the courts and tribunals of Madrid, unless consumer protection legislation establishes a mandatory different jurisdiction.
